Our Rocket Lettuce is coming along nicely. Not all of our seeds seem to have taken root so we hope to plant some more in the coming days. We don’t want to go hungry on Mars. Some more amazing rockets created by the children for Space Week.

Space Week 2018-4B from Cormac Cahill on Vimeo. This morning when we arrived back after the weekend we were greeted by the first shoots of our Rocket lettuce. We won't go hungry on Mars. Not to be left out Cormac made a Mars Diorama for Space Week.  Today we had a visit from some of the other classes in the school. They came to see all of the wonderful work undertaken by 4B for Space Week 2018. Lots of amazing art created this week in 4B to celebrate Space Week.
A very busy day today in 4B. After yesterdays very very hard PE session where the children did some Astronaut Fitness Training today they got to start construction of their Mars shelter. We made a little time-lapse of the build. Finishing touches tomorrow and more pictures (and a little green screen fun) coming soon.
Geodesic Dome Build-4B from Cormac Cahill on Vimeo. We're almost ready to begin construction of our Geodesic Dome shelter for Mars. There was some intense concentration today as the children used a small tool to make perforations in the cardboard so that we could fold them. Now we have our fingers crossed that we can put it all together. Pictures coming soon. |
